Whether it is vehicle rescue or other rescues, it is difficult to unify a set of rescue methods, because in the world, there are many different techniques for rescue operations, different numbers of rescue workers, and different equipment. However, it is believed that adopting a set of standard methods can meet the needs of rescue workers.
The team work method has been carried out for 20 years. It aims to reduce the rescue time through multi-tasking activities (simultaneous completion of tasks) and continuous care of the injured.
In this article, we will look at the team work method from seven stages:
1 , security and site assessment
2 , stability and initial entry point
3 , glass management and preparation tools
4 , create space
5 , fully open the rescue channel
6 , fixed in rescue
7. Evaluation
It is important to understand that while the team approach is very prescriptive and provides a clear list of stages to follow, rescue workers must be able to respond immediately to issues that arise from safety and injury.
Safety and on-site assessment are always first. However, due to the condition of the injured, other phases of the team work method may be executed "out of sequence". For example, after arriving at the scene (after carrying out a 360- degree survey), glass may be managed (broken) in order to enter quickly. Once this is completed, Then you need to complete any other skipped stages.
Teamwork can be used for all road traffic accidents, regardless of the number of vehicles, the type of vehicle and how many are injured.
The team work method also allows the rescue team to organize training and evaluation, using each stage as a reference point for learning and discussion.
